We’ve got all sizes and shapes to suit your bakes, big or small:
- Cupcake Toppers: 1.6” (40mm) – Perfect for those mini cakes!
- Round Cake Toppers: 7” (178mm) – Ideal for most cakes.
- Square Cake Toppers: 7x7” (178mm) – A classic for square cakes.
- Landscape/Portrait Cake Toppers: 10x7” (254x178mm) – For those extra special bakes.

What’s the Difference Between Icing Toppers and Wafer Toppers? 🤔
Here’s the lowdown on our two types of toppers:
Wafer Toppers:
- Made from thick, lightly sweetened rice paper.
- Pre-cut and ready to pop out of the sheet. 🎉
- Best with buttercream—they look gorgeous on soft icing.
- They can get a bit floppy in humid conditions, so it’s best to add them just before serving to keep them crisp.
Icing Toppers:
- A thin layer of icing—perfect for smooth, iced cakes.
- Pre-cut and easy to peel from the backing.
- Prints tend to be sharper on icing but can smudge if they get too wet, so use with care! (Dry hands are your best friend here!)
- Slightly creamier in colour than wafer toppers.
Do I Have to Cut the Cake Toppers Out Myself? ✂️
Nope! All our toppers come pre-cut, so you don’t have to worry about any scissors. Just peel off the backing for icing toppers, or gently pop out wafer toppers from the perforated sheet. Easy peasy! 👍
Got Any Tips to Make My Personalised Cake Toppers Look Amazing? 📸
We’ve got you covered! Here are a few tips for getting the best print quality:
- Choose a high-resolution image (we recommend 1,000 pixels on the smallest edge).
- Light-coloured backgrounds work best for a sharp print!
- If your photo has low resolution, don’t worry, we’ll still print it, but the quality may not be as high.
- For JPEG format only (no Word docs or PDFs, please!).
- Cupcake toppers are great for 1-2 faces, so keep it simple!
What’s the Print Quality Like? 🖨️
We think it’s pretty fantastic (if we do say so ourselves)! The print quality may not be as sharp as a regular photo, but hey, you can eat it! Plus, it looks amazing on your cake. 😋
Will the Colours Change When You Print My Photo? 🎨
We try to keep the colours true to your original image, but because we’re using edible inks, there might be slight variations—just like when you print a photo at home. Nothing too drastic, though—your cake will still look gorgeous!

Our cake toppers are made with the highest quality ingredients:
- They’re vegetarian and vegan friendly.

How Long Do Cake Toppers Last? ⏳
Our toppers are good for at least 2 months when you receive them. If stored properly in an airtight container, they can last up to 6 months. The use by date is clearly marked on the packet. Once you open them, we recommend consuming them within 10 days for the best taste and quality.
